Description
Krypton, neon and xeon are rare gases found in the atmosphere. The atmosphere consists of less than 0.002 percent of these gases. They are colorless, tasteless, odorless, nontoxic, monatomic and inert. These gases ionize at low voltages and emit bright light when conducting electricity. As ionized conductors neon has a red color, krypton yellow-green and xeon blue to green.

Uses
Krypton, neon and xeon are mainly used for filling up lamp bulbs and tubes.
